More running PRs and other stuff.

I woke up this morning and since I didn’t have work today, I figured I’d get my long run in today. My ladytimez showed up this AM (TMI? Sorry dudes) and I’d rather get my run in BEFORE I’m curled up in a ball, spooning a pillow, h8-ing life and crying about everything.

Except it was torrential downpour. No, really. I thought it was going to flood. But, I got up anyways, made pre-run breakfast #1 (coffee, water, whole wheat waffle, pb) and put on my running clothes.

I made sweet potato chili while I waited for the rain to subside, and by the time I was done putting everything in the crock-pot, the rain stopped.

Today’s mileage was supposed to be 6 miles, but I figured I’d go for the 10K. Why the hell not?

Previous 10K time: 1:19:29 (from the Philly Half) 

My goal for today was 1:11:19.

Actual time was 1:10:32 like a BOSS! There was a little strength training afterwards.

Dinner: chili sprinkled with asiago cheese. And vino. Yeah.

And now, I’m going to bake cupcakes. I really want to drink a lot more wine, build a blanket fort and watch movies, sooo… That might just happen.

Greatest Friday ever? Maybe.
